Based on the training received from UN-Habitat, the Administrative Center for China’s Agenda 21 and Beijing University, Guiyang set up a team to compile the Environmental Profile China, supported by the Guiyang Research Institute of Environmental Science of the People’s University, as the institution compiling the Master Plan of Guiyang Ecological Economy City. The detailed data and statistics in the Profile reflect the major environmental and development issues in the early stage of Guiyang’s economic development, which has laid a sound foundation for further analysis of the Master Plan of Guiyang Ecological Economy City, including preliminary feasibility studies for demonstration projects.
