TOP > Internships The UN-Habitat, United Nations Human Settlements Programme is providing the opportunity for internships and volunteers at its Fukuoka Office location. Candidates for Internships MUST: Be currently enrolled in a third or fourth year of under-graduate (BA/BSc) or in a graduate (Master) or post- graduate (PhD) programme. Obtain an endorsement from the Nominating/Sponsoring Institution. Be willing to intern on a Full-Time basis spending five days a week usually for a period of not less than THREE MONTHS and not exceeding SIX MONTHS. Fluent in English (Working knowledge of another UN language or Japanese an asset) Internships are available in a rotating basis in the following areas: Administration / Finance Information Technology Public information / Conference Services Research (Various Areas) Please note that the internship WILL NOT BE REMUNERATED by the UN. Transportation to and from the UN must be borne by the candidate or his/her sponsoring institution. Also, there is NO EXPECTANCY OF EMPLOYMENT at the end of the internship.
